History: Daisy was relinquished when her owner was no longer able to care for her medical needs. She arrived in our care with an abscess on her face that required surgery. After a successful procedure and a round of antibiotics, Daisy has made a complete recovery. She has been in the care of NCHS since October 2023 and is now ready for her new forever home!

Bowie- Ball Python
Meet Bowie. A sweet 4-foot male ball python! He’s calm, easy to handle, and enjoys gentle interaction once he’s out of his enclosure. He has a steady appetite and eats medium frozen/thawed rats every 10–14 days. Whether you’re an experienced keeper or new to snakes, he’s a great companion who’ll make a wonderful addition to a loving home.

Paxton, Gopher Snake
Age: 20+ years
Morph: Albino
Sex: Male
Size: 5 feet
Personality: Paxton arrived underweight, having been fed less frequently than he requires. While in foster care he has been a voracious eater and will accept either a F/T adult mouse or a small rat weekly, never turning down a meal. With this increased feeding schedule, Paxton has been bulking up quickly. Due to age-related cataracts, Paxton is blind, but this doesn't seem to slow him down one bit! He's an active and spunky senior with an inquisitive and vibrant personality. Always ready for food, Paxton may have a feeding response when first approached but as soon as he realizes it's not feeding time he can be easily taken out and handled. He's wiggly but docile and agreeable to handling. As gopher snakes can live into their 30s in captivity, we expect Paxton could have many more happy, healthy years ahead!
History: Originally purchased from a pet shop, Paxton lived with the same caretaker his entire life. He was relinquished due to life circumstances and is now seeking a soft place to land as he enters his golden years.
